Effective: May 20, 2024

General Information

Thank you for choosing our services! In this statement, we will explain how and why we collect your personal data, what we will use your personal data for, and what choices you have regarding the treatment of your personal data.

This privacy policy applies to all bots and websites of tibue99, which we collectively refer to as "Services" here.

This privacy policy may be updated regularly by us by publishing a new version on this website. In the event of significant changes to this policy, we will inform you through a notice within the Service before these changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date is subject to the new privacy policy.

If you have any questions about privacy, you can contact us at any time using the email address provided in the legal notice.

What personal data do we collect from you?

We collect personal data about you when you provide us with such information directly, when third parties provide us with personal data about you, or when personal data about you is automatically collected in connection with your use of our Services.

The following information is stored by us for their proper functioning:

  • Discord IDs, including, but not limited to users, servers, channels, roles and messages

  • Authentication information provided by you when logging into our web dashboard

  • All content provided directly by the user

When you use our services or are a member of a server that uses our services, the information you provide, including but not limited to your Discord ID, username, avatar, and the servers you are on, may be used to improve our services or provide you with certain features.

All metadata of the messages sent on your server can be used to provide you with some features. This includes, for example, the number of messages sent by a user.

Message content can be used to provide certain features of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, the generation of transcript files. Message content (including media) is stored to enable support transcripts.

Users have the option to provide images, texts, and other media to personalize the features of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, welcome messages and backgrounds for the server banner. You agree to upload only media that you own or in which you otherwise have sufficient intellectual property rights.

If you remove our service from a Discord server, we reserve the right to delete uploaded media associated with that server. Contact us if you want to delete uploaded media immediately and this is not possible with the built-in functions of the service.

How do we collect your data?

We receive personal data directly from you when you provide us with such personal data. This may include data that you enter into a contact form.

When you interact with a third-party service while using our services, the third-party service may provide us with information about you, such as information from your public profile, if the third-party service and your account settings allow such sharing. The information we receive depends on the policies and your account settings with the third-party service.

The following list includes cases in which we collect data from third parties but is not limited to these cases:

  • When you use a third-party service to sign up for our services (e.g., Discord)

  • When you share content from our services via a third-party social media service

  • When you are a member of a Discord server where our service is used

How do we use your personal data?

We process personal data to operate, improve, and personalize our services. We will only process your personal data if we have a legal basis for doing so. We do not share or sell your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We retain collected information for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the requested service. Unless otherwise stated, your data will only be deleted from our servers if you expressly request this. In this case, please contact us using the contact details provided in the legal notice.

Security

We use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal data from loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

We would like to point out that electronic data transmission or storage may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. We are not liable for data loss or privacy breaches.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, please do not attempt to register for the services or send us personal data about yourself. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 years of age, we will delete that data as soon as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 years of age may have provided us with personal data, please contact us.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small data packets that do not cause any damage to your device. They are either temporarily stored for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies can originate from us ("first-party cookies") or from third-party companies ("third-party cookies"). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Some cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them. For example, cookies that allow you to log into secure areas of our website or use a shopping cart. Disabling these cookies affects the performance of the services and may result in certain features and services not being available.

Functionality cookies are used to recognize you when you return to our services. This allows us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences or settings.

Other cookies may be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes. Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you request (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies for measuring web audiences) are stored based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. If consent for the storage of cookies and similar recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on an individual basis, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
